MN Mama Innovations ("we," "our," or "us") operates LightWell Care™ and LightWell Care (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website or use our Service.

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. What We Collect

Information you give us

We only hold what you enter yourself:

• Your email address and password, when you create an account.
• Your profile: display name, caregiver role, a short bio, and a photo if you upload one.
• Care records you choose to add: the person you care for, medications, care team contacts, insurance details, journal entries, and wellness notes.
• Messages you send to the AI assistants, and the assistant's replies.
• Posts, comments, and reactions you share in the Community.
• Anything you send through our contact, early access, or Care Journal forms, including your name and email.

Information collected automatically

When you use the site we record basic usage data:

• Device and browser type
• IP address and general location
• Pages visited, links clicked, and time spent
• The website or link that referred you

We do not ask for Social Security numbers, insurance claim files, or medical records, and we are not a HIPAA covered entity. Please leave those out of what you enter.

3. How We Use It

We use this information to:

• Show you your own account, care records, and journal entries
• Answer your questions through the AI assistants and translate Community posts when you ask
• Publish the posts and comments you choose to share in the Community
• Reply to you when you contact us, and send account emails such as sign-in and password reset
• Understand how the site is used so we can improve it, and meet legal obligations

We do not sell your information, show you ads, or use your entries to train AI models.

4. Who Else Sees It

We share information only with the service providers that make LightWell Care work: our hosting and database provider, which stores your account and records; the AI provider that generates assistant replies and translations, which receives the text of that request but does not use it to train models; and our email provider, which sends account emails. They may only use it to provide that service to us.

Anything you post in the Community is visible to other signed-in members along with your display name and photo. Please do not post details you would not want others to read.

5. Where It Is Stored and Kept Safe

Your information is stored in a managed, encrypted database hosted in the United States. Uploaded photos are kept in private storage. Everything travels over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and database rules restrict each record so that only your account can read your private data. Passwords are hashed and never visible to us.

We keep your information for as long as your account exists. Contact form messages and basic usage records are kept while they are useful for support and improving the site. No method of storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Cookies and Tracking

We use a small amount of browser storage to keep you signed in and remember your language choice, plus basic analytics to count page visits. We do not use advertising trackers. You can clear or block this storage in your browser, but you will be signed out.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

8. Your Rights and How to Delete Your Data

You can, at any time:

• See and edit your profile and your care records while signed in
• Delete individual journal entries, care records, posts, and comments
• Delete your entire account and everything in it
• Ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you

Deleting your account

Sign in, open your Profile page, and choose "Delete my account" at the bottom. This immediately and permanently removes your profile, care records, journal entries, wellness notes, assistant conversations, Community posts and comments, uploaded photo, and your sign-in itself. It cannot be undone, and we keep no copy.

If you cannot sign in, email us at the address below and we will delete your account within 30 days. Anonymous usage records that are not linked to you, and anything we must keep by law, may remain.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
