The goal is simple: help people feel more prepared and less alone in the work of caregiving.

We involve caregivers in shaping the questions we address, the language we use, the tools we build, and the way those tools work in everyday life.
That same principle guides how we think about artificial intelligence.
AI can be useful, but it should have clear boundaries, communicate honestly about what it can and cannot do, and support — not replace — human judgment and professional care.

Why I started LightWell Care
I founded LightWell Care after seeing how much responsibility families are expected to carry across a healthcare system that can be difficult to navigate even on a good day.
Like many caregivers, I have experienced how quickly one health event can turn into dozens of decisions, phone calls, questions, and responsibilities.
I kept coming back to the same thought:
Caregivers should not have to figure all of this out alone.
My background is in healthcare, customer experience, strategy, human-centered design, and innovation.
LightWell Care brings those disciplines together with something equally important: listening closely to caregivers themselves.
We are building this carefully, with a focus on usefulness, safety, accessibility, and the realities of everyday caregiving.
Where we are headed
Our vision is a future where family caregivers have better tools, clearer information, and a stronger voice in the systems they help hold together every day.
We are starting with practical support for the moments that feel overwhelming now.
And we are building from there.
